NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Township of Burlington, County of Burlington, State of New Jersey on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:00 am prevailing time at the Burlington Township Municipal Building, 851 Old York Road, Burlington, NJ 08016 at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:
JANITORIAL SERVICES
Those interested in bidding may obtain specifications at the Burlington Township Municipal Building, 851 Old York Road, Burlington Township, New Jersey, 08016 during the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, by email to svail@twp.burlington.nj.us or by calling (609) 239-5831 during the same hours.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and bid title “BID FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES” on the outside, and addressed to Stacey Schwoebel, Purchasing Agent, at the address above. Bid must be delivered by hand or by mail no later than 10:00 am on Friday, June 8, 2018. Bidder is solely responsible for the timely delivery of the bid proposal.
All bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and either a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond, issued by a surety licensed or authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, payable to the Township of Burlington, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, but not to exceed $20,000 as well as a Consent of Surety binding the surety to furnish performance and payment bonds as required in the Instructions to Bidders, together with all documents required in the bid package. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (Affirmative Action). In compliance with P.L. 1977, c.33, the Bid must state whether or not any shareholders hold more than ten percent (10%) interest in the bidding corporation or partnership, and if so, must state such shareholder’s or partner’s name and addresses.
The Township of Burlington reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. The award of contract for providing the above will be made at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council.
