Planning Board

Burlington Township has a Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment, each meet once a month.   Meetings are held in the Community Room downstairs at the Municipal Building.

A Screening Committee meeting is also held monthly to allow applicants to informally discuss their projects with the Board’s professionals prior to submitting their application.

All meetings are open to the public.

Planning & Zoning Meeting Dates

Planning Board- 2nd Thursday 

• All planning board regular meetings begin at 7:00 pm 
• Planning Reorganization meetings begin at 6:45 pm

Zoning Board – 3rd Wednesday

• All zoning board regular meetings begin at 7:00 pm
• Zoning Reorganization meetings begin at 6:45 pm

Screening Committee

The fee to attend is as follows:
Resident  $100.00
Business  $300.00

A letter indicating the address and type of project is to be submitted to the Planning & Zoning Office, along with the above fee, by the Monday prior to the meeting date.

All meetings will begin at 10:00 a.m. via video conference (Zoom Meeting App.)  You will be provided with an invite a few days prior to the meeting. 

Meeting dates are subject to change. The Land Use Administrator will advise members at least 48 hours in advance of any change.

REVISED PLANS DUE 15 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO MEETING.  

Complete Planning & Zoning applications with plans and sufficient funds must be submitted by 10:00 am on the above dates.  Agendas for all meetings will be complete 1 week prior to the scheduled meeting date.Please be advised we will make every effort to schedule your application on the meeting date listed above but can not guarantee that, due to availability on the agenda and completeness of the application.
