6/16/2026 - Sewer Treatment Plant Odor Notice
NOTICE TO RESIDENTS
The Township is aware that some residents may be experiencing an increase in odor from the Burlington Township Sewer Treatment Plant.
The odor is the result of an equipment failure that has temporarily affected normal treatment operations. Repairs are currently underway, with a partial restoration of operations expected by the end of the week.
While this will improve conditions, some odor may continue to be noticeable as the treatment process gradually returns to normal.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the community's patience and understanding as our staff works to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
