Notice to Residents – Hydro-Raking Project at Upper Sylvan Lake
On or about September 22nd, the Township will begin a hydro-raking project at Upper Sylvan Lake (The Swim Lake).
- Purpose: To remove organic material, vegetation, and muck that has built up along the shoreline and lake bottom through the natural aging process.
- Important Note: This is NOT a dredging project.
- Process: Material removed will be de-watered and transported off-site.
- Timeline: The project is expected to take about 30 days.
- Impact: Temporary access restrictions to the boat launch may occur.
